About

Osman was an asylum seeker from Kurdistan who had lived in the UK since 2001. After many years of constant dismissal from the Home Office and in the wake of several traumatic experiences, Osman took his own life on 25th July 2010.

The purpose of this site is to provide updates on the ongoing campaign to raise the money to repatriate Osman’s body to his family in Iraq, and to promote awareness of the struggles which he and so many others like him face in the U.K.

If you would like to donate money, or get involved in the campaign to help raise awareness and support for other people who may be struggling in a situation similar to Osman, please keep in touch.

Thank you on behalf of Osman’s family, friends and those who understood his struggle.
